Great UPS for a great price!

I've had this UPS for several months now. It has survived a major blackout, several short blackouts, several brownouts, and several tests without any problems. A deep battery test (that runs on battery power until the battery starts to go weak) will run my computer/monitor for about 25 minutes which is about 10-15 minutes better than my old 650VA UPS. No Problems with test...

I tried the 10 second test and it worked with no problems. You should always try this test because you certainly don't want to find out you have a problem when you need it to work.I have a mid size system (Athalon 2400+ and 19" monitor) and thought I could get away with a smaller UPS. I tried 350va, then 500, and then even a 725. None of them could handle my midlevel power requirements. Those smaller units are a thing of the past with the larger systems of the day.I also tried different brands and...

Stay away: Buy anything but Belkin.

I wired everything up, then booted and let the battery charge for about three hours. Then connected the USB cable and installed the software supplied with this unit.As I was playing with the software, which, by the way, looked pretty impressive, I realized that there were some testing options. So, I clicked on "10 Minute Test." I know this is hard to believe. What happened you ask? The unit blew up. Well, there was immediate loss of power.
