FORMATTING CARD

I can't rate the card yet because I can't get it formatted.I have a relatively new Pentax digital that tries to format it but fails each time.Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Bad Card

I've gone through two of these cards.They worked in the camera...unloaded it and then it died."Unable to format". SanDisk support had me try several things to format and none worked.They did authorize a return.

Excellent for Canon A 620 !

I purchased this card with the A 620 here on Amazon in July 2006 and both have worked perfectly.I took them on a cruise to Alaska's Inside Passage, took over 1,000 photos.Excellent!

Lightning Fast

I bought this card for my 6 megapixel Canon Powershot S3 IS digital camera. At highest resolution and lowest compression the camera estimates it will hold 360 shots. This may be optimistic since some of my pictures have come out to 4Mb but it will undoubtedly hold a lot. This is my third digital camera, previous ones were a Kodak that used Compact Flash and an Olympus that used Smart Media. I was amazed at how fast the camera writes to this card. Full size files in less than a second. They download to a USB 2.0 enabled computer in even less time. SanDisk, in my experience, has been the most reliable flash memory card in any format. In short, if you need a large capaciy SD card you can't go wrong with this.

This SD memory card is incredible. The speed is amazing, and it works perfectly with several different devices. 1 GB is quite a lot and I am sure that it is one of the best options for everyone looking for a reliable and affordable SD card.
