The ProMedia 2.1 THX-Certified, three-piece computer audio system from Klipsch transforms your desktop into a high-performance audio entertainment center. Two 35-watt satellite speakers deliver full-bodied stereo sound, while a floor-thumping 130-watt subwoofer provides low-end slam from your favorite music, games, and movies, reaching down to an impressive 31 Hz.

The satellites' exclusive Klipsch MicroTractrix horn maximizes clarity and high-frequency dispersion from CDs, MP3s, streaming radio programs, and other audio. The high-output, digital-hybrid-amplifier-driven ProMedia 2.1 offers a convenient headphone jack and dual stereo analog inputs, one for a more or less hard-wired connection from your computer's line or headphone output jack, the second to accommodate a portable audio device such as an MP3 or minidisc player/recorder.

Top of the line speakers. WARNING: Will annoy your neighbors enormously!!

This is the best speakers system I've seen in years. Just got them from bestbuy for $160 tax included for local pickup. There are many many online rave reviews about this product, but I always take these articles with a grain of salt. A lot of things are overrated these days. good company bad product

Speakers are ok but the sub refuses to work. Sub lasted about three weeks and then started cutting out. The problem is a bad plug that many people are complaining about on Klipsch's site. They replaced it and the replacement is bad too. Not recommended!...

Good speakers for general purpose

At first, this horn type speakers deliver unremarkable music at Best Buy, I prefer others for more round sound and defined human vocal reproduction. Naturally, I spend more time on the other speakers and after 10 min, to my surprise, I develop an earache. A bit more investigation, BB uses MP3 player and connects all speaker to the same source, so it explains my earache from speakers that "color" poor audio source to make it sounds good. At home, this speakers reproduces sound closer to movie theater...

These sound GREAT!!!!

I bought these at Best Buy after looking at all the speakers that Best Buy and Circuit City had to offer.Each of the speakers had sound tests and far and away the Klipsch speakers not only sounded the best but also were the easiest to control the sound of.The main volume and subwoofer volume is located on the right speaker in front so it's easy to turn the bass up or down as well as the volume.Sound quality is incredible.The best part of these speakers is that the price also great.When you compare...

It's all in the Bass

I replaced my old altec lansing 4221s with these today and man these ROCK or what !!!! I'm listening to Megadeth right now and the drums are coming out clearer than ever. The low vibe on the double bass is so tight. I played Carcass, Arch Enemy and Pantera to test the Sub and the bass never felt better. If you're a fan of high speed double bass drumming this baby's got it all.Overall great speakers. Mids are good, Highs are crisp (cant believe the cymbals) and the Bass..ohh just love the bass. Nice...
