A convenient all-in-one package

After having 6 computers in the house, and only 2 of them having floppy drives (and none having memory card readers) this item is so handy to have around. I love the fact that I can access my Mac and PC floppies from over a decade ago. Even OS X 10.4.7 still happily reads floppies.Transfer speeds are roughly in line with what I expected, and that's no complaint.The only thing I really noticed is that some of the slots for the memory cards are very snug. One of my Sony Memory Sticks I can't get back...

Easy buy, easy install

The package arrived the second day after I ordered it.This drive came with everything that was needed. I did have to open the manual---big deal. I'm running it on WinXP SP2 and it works fine. It's a necessary evil because new PCs don't come with floppy drives....

Well, this is just the cats meow.Works like charm.It has read every data card I've thrown at it and even handle "leagacy" media, ahem, I mean floppy disks....

FRUSTRATION!!

After many hours of trying to get this to work, I finally got it to work.The drivers are not compatible with windows XP, service pack 2. Since I'm not a computer genius I had no idea what to do.Finally after reading how to unzip a file I finally got the thing to work.Their website tells you that you need winzip for $29.You really don't.Just unzip the file and you are set.I really like the product, but installing it was a real battle for me....
