Works Great. Does EXACTLY What it Says.

This is the ONLY ATA/133 PCI card I could find that worked perfectly with my Apple G4.I had the classic problem where I wanted to upgrade to a larger hard drive, but my G4 wouldn't recognize drives larger than 200+ Gigs. This product is PLUG 'N PLAY.I had absolutely no problems... just ran my Disk Utility, formatted the drive, and it appeared right on my desktop.I won't give it 5 stars because, in comparison to other ATA/133 PCI cards, it's a little pricey. But, hey... Mac always makes you pay the...

does what it needs to do

excellent card, had completely no problems installing it, just shutdown, slid it in the slot, attached HD, screwed in the one screw and closed it up and rebooted, allowed me to exceed the 120 gig limit on older g4's, i happen to have a quicksilver single processor 867mhz, which is nearly the last model to have this issue, i needed a larger drive for my growing music collection and video editing, good stuff....

Does What It Claims

a little pricey considering the dated technology, but truly plug and play with noticeable differnce for most older Mac's. This is the third I've installed and they've all operated without a hitch. Pay attention to the wiring instructions, though, you will probably want to use two cables since only 'masters' can boot. I didn't 'get' that until the second or third time....
